Referring to the Result of Discussion between The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and the Korea International Cooperation Agency of the Republic of Korea (KOICA) and University of Indonesia for the Project for The Capacity Building of the ICT-Based Integrated Knowledge System Development at the University of Indonesia which was signed on 29 August 2022 and the Activity Implementation Agreement between KOICA and the Faculty of Humanities (FIB UI) on 30 November 2023, KOICA and FIB UI have appointed Lemtek UI to carry out the Detailed Design Work for the Construction of the Connectivity Building Hub at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Indonesia based on a contract that was signed on December 1 2023. The scope of work includes detailed design for building construction and interior and tender documents development. In its implementation, KOICA has assigned Pai Chai University as Project Management Consulting (PMC) led by Prof. Jong-Dae Park. On August 12 2024, a meeting was held to announce the replacement of the PMC Project Manager, which was then led by Assistant Prof JongYong Kim. The meeting was attended by a team from FIB UI consisting of Dr. Bondan Kanumoyoso, M.Hum as Dean, Dr. Untung Yuwono as Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Dr. Hendra Kaprisma, S.Hum as General Manager of FIB UI, Dr. Wisnu Isvara, MT as General Manager of Lemtek UI, Prof. Jong-Dae Park and JongYong Kim from Pai Chai University, Muh. Asri B ST from the Directorate of Operations and Maintenance of Facilities UI. In this meeting Dr Wisnu Isvara, MT said that the detailed engineering design and interior design of the Connectivity Hub Building would be completed at the end of August 2024. He said that the next stage is the tender process which must be prepared and carried out by KOICA and FIB UI, and then the ground breaking will be carried out in October 2024.
